![]() ![]() We found ourselves in a large bar/saloon area with a pool table. I was surprised we were lucky enough to find a lone actor as all the others had been completely engulfed by large groups crowding around to see their scenes. What we found was a far corner of the hotel where there were literally no other people. I grabbed my husband and we rushed off to see a new scene. I suddenly saw another actor completely by himself walking into a distant room. His scene took place on the floor and I really couldn't see anything since there were rows of people in front of me and I'm fairly short. They continued to dance as people jumped out of their way, but they never even blinked at the distraction of the close audience.Īt one point we were following an actor which had a very large group around him. Even been so close to the actors, it appeared we were only meant to be invisible observers. In those same 2 hours, we never once saw an actor make contact or even acknowledge any of the guests in the audience. It was slowly growing on me to where I was really enjoying the unique experience. In those 2 hours, we saw many scenes, including the large "finale" scene in the dining hall. At first I was confused, but I grew to love the extremely detailed set and very talented dancers. We had been in the hotel watching all the lovely dancers/actors for about 2 hours. Since you can read any other review to see what the check-in, bar, and moving through the hotel is like, I will just get straight to our particular upsetting situation. I'm still in a bit of shock from what happened. I have been trying to figure out a way to write a review for our experience at Sleep No More for several days. It seems like a great concept that needs to be made over with an entirely different, more exciting play/story etc (and add words) No one explains anything and there’s nothing worth trying to interpret. Yes, exploring the 5+ story hotel and its dozens of stocked and creepy rooms is fun but…nothing seems to lead to anything or have any meaning or payoff. In another scene, I watched a guy crouch down sssllllooThere truly wasn’t any story to follow -as countless reviews have echoed … In one scene, I literally watched an actor sleep in a bed for roughly 10 minutes. it’s often slow moving -like watching paint dry. We spent less than 5 minutes there and it we weren’t even into the show (and it was about a $400/couple upcharge)!!Īs you’ve read elsewhere, the show is a mess. The “reserved table” is kind of ‘scammy.’ If you want to see the show and do the experience, you’ll likely hardly use the reserved table. ![]() 99% of the show takes place on other rooms and floors (where there are plenty of other FREE places to sit down). Do NOT get the package with the reserved table. ![]()
